To Friends of Classics:

I am writing on behalf of Love&Madness, a repertory theatre company who present classic plays and new adaptations of classic stories.

We are presenting Sophocles' AJAX at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith for nine weeks between 26 May - 25 July 2009.

We are using a translation by Dr Robert Cannon and the production is directed by veteran actor/director/writer Jack Shepherd, who has relocated the action to a First World War field hospital.

We believe this production would be of interest to visitors of the Friends of the Classics website.
